Yasser Helmy is the Vice President of IoT, Systems Integration, and Sustainability at e& enterprise, where his mission is to drive digital transformation through innovative IoT and industry-specific solutions. Mr. Helmy is based in Dubai, but he brings his extensive global expertise, gained from years of leading high-impact customer engagements across five continents.

Before joining e& enterprise, Yasser was a founding member and Head of Commercial IoT & Industry Solutions (APAC) at Lenovo in Singapore. That is where he built and scaled a services-led IoT business across multiple industries. This included Real Estate, Retail, Education, and Manufacturing. Before that, he spent 15 years at Cisco Systems as a pioneer of Cisco's 'Smart+Connected' initiative. His role was leading IoT and Smart Cities businesses in GCC, Emerging Markets, EMEA, and APAC. His diverse career also encompasses various technical, business development, and leadership roles at Hewlett-Packard, Fastlane, and SITA.  

As a true global citizen, Yasser is an Egyptian-born businessman with a background in engineering and business education. He lived in seven countries before settling in Germany with his family. In 2024, he decided to relocate to the UAE, where he is to this day. His current focus is to leverage technology as a force for bridging the digital divide, while continually seeking to narrow the gap between technological advancements and human progress.  

Beyond his professional pursuits, Yasser is a passionate traveler who enjoys exploring the world’s cultures, landscapes, architecture, and cuisines.
